Yeah, man, this is about relaxation. I know at a time like this, it's like, how could you think of that? And I'm like, how could you not? But you know, I like to start my episodes let's get it. It's Ben moon does quote of the day And this quote of the day comes from Brian McGill. Your calm mind is the ultimate weapon against your challenges. And it's crazy because there's a cobalt Einstein that also says you can't, deal with a problem with the same mind level that you started it with around those lines. And I believe that to be true, you don't make your best decisions when you're on the intense amounts of stress. And when you going through shit, you just make the decision to not be the one that doesn't make the decision. Well, at least for me, I can't speak for everybody, but I know some can relate, but yeah, man, yo, it's a hectic time, man. It's at a point where We're barely surprised. Like we're, we're fucking desensitized, like a motherfucker. yeah, like I said, Corona, now there's another form of Corona people not paying attention to it, but a lot of UFO shit is like that shit is about to be really official. But Now to the episode. The walls when things were normal, it was a little easier, I guess, to see the future and I guess to be able to relax, but in these days, I know is it's some shit, man. Like there's a lot of uncertainty, man. Sometimes it's hard to. Have peace when there's so much uncertainty, but I have to say it's just adapting to it, man. Yo like being able to flow with the change it could be your fire extinguisher. When there's a fire, like pop that glass open and. Star sprain. I could drive by. Yeah. So I want to start off with, while we need to relax. cause it's too easy to get stressed. I hate me DJ. Nah, not for nothing. Negativity, spreads faster. We all know that. And it's so easy to get stressed. when you work on things that you do have control over and you are in charge of that's the ship, but the stress comes in well, you know, the things that you can do and you don't do it Continue to do the same things that's causing you the same results. And you know, sometimes you just need to take a step back and relax. Not everything needs a response, not everything needs a reaction, not everything needs your full attention. but what does need your full attention is for you to find the way so wounds ha ha. Like, captain, from bad boys to you gotta be able to like, find your version of it. Like I'm going to give you different versions, but you got to make it your own. Right? Like I find a way to make my certain techniques my own, they weren't, I wasn't necessarily born with them. A lot of says, you're not born with man. Like. It's okay. To take a little bit from here a little bit from there and make it your own. That's how, like the best shit is made. Why do you need to relax? Cause being an adult was one of the toughest things to be right. Like when you a kid you're you want this freedom, you rushing for like when you a kid you just want to be, you just want to be able to have all this access, but all this access and freedom comes with fucking baggage, whether you like to believe it or not. Right. Cause, we're adults. So we're expected to take care of ourselves. So, you know, we need income and that only, that doesn't only require the financial, we gotta take care of ourselves. health wise, mentally, physically at the same time, keeping over relationships at the same time, dealing with the shit in the world that we don't know, what's the origin, the, where it comes from, on top of that, trying to find the job when the job market is fucked up, As an adult, you always got to deal with some shit and as adults. We try to keep this from the kids. Right? Like we try to make sure that we can give them the best possible, childhood, especially now in these times, man, we were able to go outside a lot more even though like, not if you really think about it, kids nowadays, wasn't going outside. Anyway. They was already on the fucking, on the iPads and YouTube and all this other shit. They wasn't, they was already inside. This just made it. Where there wasn't even, there's not even like a chance for them to experience some of the things we did. I know some parents make it their business to, shout out to them, but I said, man, it's difficult adjusting in this new era, man, this new normal, because it will never be the same again. We know that, you could believe that it will, and that's cool, but. Why wouldn't you, why was you wanted to beat 20, 20 opened up a lot of eyes and made sure like how my cousin mix tapes that in season one, it made you make sure you did all the situ was already supposed to be doing. And it made you aware of a lot of things that you weren't aware of. I'm pretty sure you want to live longer. Like. Stress can kill you. Like stress can take you out like a fucking hit man. Like that shit is a silent Hitman. I don't know if any of y'all know any like couple where they've been together so long that when one dies, the other one dies like immediately after like know you could die from heartbreak. So it's important, especially now knowing what can happen, to find a way to chill out, shit, yo you know, it's crazy. I don't stress no more, as much as I used to. I mean, I still stress every now and then. actually, yeah, during the holidays, I stress more than normal, but yo, from when I used to stress, yo, I, I had great hands on deck, man. when I moved to Miami, I remember just sitting in my room and like almost purposely, just not even trying to fight. And next thing I know gray hairs had thinning, but I'm still winning, but yeah, man, you need to relax for your overall health man. Your mind needs a break. Your body needs a break. Your spirit needs a break You love yourself. you got to start acting like you do from all angles, not just saying it as one thing. Right. But what you do defines you. So you can say that you're this and you're that, but you do nothing about it then are you really, that's just, just, I'm not trying to take jabs at anyone. And I know you're like, well, if we're going to do, you're going to force yourself to relax now, but you got to find the way, bro. Relaxing is man. That's something that I feel like that, that goes hand in hand with loving yourself. And like I said, that's just my opinion. I'm just trying to give you ways to look at things better. So you can feel better, man, like going through mass shit or putting so much on your shoulders that you don't need to just relax. Just do it. If you want to come through it, relax, just do it where you want to go. I ain't gonna fuck. Yo, shout out to the ADA boys. I lived in Queens for a little bit. they showed me mad love. Welcome me to the block. I'm doing the Massachusetts thing where wifey USA a lot more quiet, which is where I'm at right now with, I need to focus. I love New York, but shit, the distraction is too easy to come there was a guy named Raymond old dude old school cat. he was a teacher. He always got some wild shit to tell, you know, always some wild words for me or whoever's around. And one day I was worried about something and he's like, yo, whether you worry or not, it's still going to happen. He said you might as well smile and just chill out and deal with it. Then basically. You know, cross that bridge when you get there. But yeah, I would use that method, I mean, sometimes you get caught up in your emotions. I know it's hard to, but, sometimes things are going to happen. that is out of our control., and adding techniques and different things you can do that are healthy for you as opposed to a self sabotage. I think it's definitely worth looking into, honestly, but I'm saying easier said than done. Just like, don't worry. Of course, you're going to worry, but. practice with things, smaller things you worry about until the bigger ones arise, pause you know what I'm saying? Like, you don't want to be a warrior, a warrior. You want to be a warrior, like the ultimate warrior you want to fucking run to the ring. And be ready for the smoke, bounce off the ropes type shit. You don't want to be like, I'm fucking mankind and Mr. Socko fucking crazy ass. There's techniques, man. They out there. I read this book called I think if my mom was thinking it's called worry free, I'll put it in the description a is worry free. And I remember there was a technique and a camera, what it is right now, but I used it and yo, I wasn't able to let it roll off me, like water off a Duck's back, like, ah, get off me or dirt off dirt on Jay showed this like, get off me like, You're going to have bills. You're going to deal with death. Going there with love. You're going to deal with hate. Just how you react and what you got in your tool belt. And, and I don't mean like hammers in Phillips school drivers. I'm talking about like, what are the tools you're going to use to relax and. Be able to deal with that situation when you're in a better head space, you know, me, man, I don't like to talk about the good and act like the bad is not there. So there are things that prevent us from relaxation or being able to relax. And it's our circumstances sometimes like when you focus on. The things that you don't like or don't want it can make things like relaxation. The last thing you want to do, like, you feel like once you get this done, then you know, once life is like this, then you relax. But nah, shit don't work like that, man. I mean, like I said, everything's different for everybody, but you have to live how you want to live before it's official to you or the world. Sometimes I feel like it's not for certain things. It's not serious enough for you, but it's like, you gotta make it serious. you. Hold yourself back from relaxing. You don't make it a problem, or again, you don't think it's something that has an importance, but it does, man. That's the shit that balances out everything else that you have to do now understand the certain illnesses that kind of almost, especially chronic illnesses hard to. Relax with something that keeps coming back, but there's this success stories, man. And we all, we're not the same, but something that worked for somebody might work for you. You can't automatically cross it off your list. If you haven't tried it, like you don't know, you imagine that I didn't try tacos. I would be here. Fucking keenwah Ian quick EMF. Keenwah nah, I ain't got flour. I ate that when I was like on my diet that it was, I, you know what I'm saying? Especially you seasoned it up. And when it comes to things that prevent us, we can say family relationships, all these other things, Their result back to you. You show people how you want to be treated. And initially, and at the end of the day, it's your choice. Whether you want to really try to take it easy that day or for that moment or that it doesn't have to be all day, man. You just got to make sure you give yourself that, that peace of mind, man, that we all need to give ourselves. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder man. So you can literally just convince yourself that it's okay to just sit back, relax. And it's crazy. Cause sometimes I'm talking to myself when I'm doing these podcasts and sometimes it's hard for me to relax because I used to take it too far. Like I would relax for a day and it will turn into a month. So like it's some type of insecure, like. Not wanting to go back to my old ways, which is natural and it's all right. So once you know the things that are preventing you from relaxation and you realize that, you know, the end of the day, you can make time for it. I said, even if it's 10 minutes, even if it's, even if it's a little walk, just You owe it to yourself. I don't give a fuck. Who, what you think you owe that shit to yourself. Which leads me to my next talking point, which is effective relaxation methods. And I'm going to go with my number one, which I feel like has been a big reason why my life has changed. And I've mentioned it before. I need to do a whole episode on this. Well, let's give it up for meditation. And meditation is just all you need is you and your breath. Notice what I'll say. Like that's what I love about it. Like it's just you and your breathing something. So simple has so many benefits, like your fucking brainwaves change after 10 minutes of meditation your outlook on life changes, you have a more humble wisdom, tome to yourself. Like I've not read shit. Watch any videos, anything. And meditator for a week and had mad wisdom to give out where like, I should have obviously wrote most of this shit down. Cause I could have used it now, but Hey it's okay. I I'm doing that now. Had a tape recorder that I lost had a lot of good shit in there, but it's okay. We'll get another one. Should I just use my phone, right? But yeah, man one of the first rappers I've heard speak on meditation, or they even did a song was J Cole, or he was like, don't medicate, just meditate. And I've had certain friends do it. And I just see most like everyone who does it, you're like their belly. Like their demeanor is usually calm. Usually alert, usually aware. And there's so many different forms of meditation that can help you with so many different avenues of your life. Like the sensei, right. in martial arts, meditation is part of it. Cause it's like, yeah, we learned it. We're teaching you how to defend yourself and kick the shit out of somebody, but there's a discipline and. Humbleness about it. So meditation, I feel like it's just, I you can take medications, you can watch movies, you can read books, man, but meditation is just you, your breath and is letting you know that you're alive and, That day someone had their last breath and you're able to use something to help you. Appreciate your breath, enjoy your breath, and hopefully Keep your your breath fresh. Cause I know some of y'all I the hella who, who the hell and what the fuck mouth. This is not overrated, I guess. Cause I'm a self-help I haven't brought it up, but once you get that feeling, yo man, getting it on to the break of Dawn with somebody, you have a connection with a chemistry. Can these stress, the fuck out of any situation? I feel like this is important, man. You'd be, sometimes you'll be all pinned up in shit, man. Breathing is not the only release you need yo Niamh, but yeah, man As a 20 year old, I would tell you bang your life away as a 34 year old, I would tell you, find that person you connect with and you share a bond with and fucking relax. and sometimes you got to say to the fuck, the no fat man, you got to do what you gotta do on your own man. Tweet made a song about it, man. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Just don't don't do it like Peewee son. Cause my son. Whole career changed after a year. He couldn't wait. So, but again any type of sexual release, I say it's good, especially when you're trying to relax. Sit Oh, you know, I feel great. I just saw this documentary on Carson with fucking, I forget his fucking name. Nicholas cage, and yo saying the word, fuck. It's such a stress reliever. And to know that there's a whole documentary pool, I've been telling people. I tell everybody, like, I don't want to stop cursing. I could have the best vocabulary in the world. I could be one of the greatest speakers of all time. And when when I get a chance to say, fuck, I'm going to say, fuck, because honestly I'm pretty sure that word has saved me from stressing more than I. Had so you imagined being upset and going darn it like, Aw, gosh, darn it shouldn't be, I was still, I will be more set, but it was like, Aw, fuck man, let me vote it up. They'll get up. Inhale X head. I'm sorry, like I have friends. That's like, yo, I ain't curse until I started chilling with you, man. But. I love to curse when I'm cursing. I don't feel stress. And Hey, it makes me feel better in some ways. I don't suggest you telling this to kids. That's the believer. I'll tell them when they 18. Hey but. Yeah, man, sometimes you just got to say, fucking fuck that. And it was saying crush your ass off. Like Samuell man. Fuck that. Oh man. There's all types of ways you can say walks. You can paint. You know, you can write you just gotta find. What brings your mind peace? What brings you to that ease? Cause all these techniques are like the boat that gets you on the Island, man. Like you gotta get on that boat before you get on that Island. You just can't fly in that motherfucker. Right? So once you get there is you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor or enjoy the scenery which is another method. Looking at something beautiful. There's something great for the mine. use these techniques. They definitely going to be helpful, man. And you know, if you have something else that works, send me email. But I feel like to truly experience relaxation that will you have to embrace gratefulness. Gratefulness is when you take that breath of, when you take that big breath, cause you know, there's a lot of things that you want, but you got everything you need and not to compare, but. There's always someone that has a worse situation than you. Just like this, someone that has a better situation than you, that's using you as the example just comes around full circle. But I just know, like whenever I enjoy my days or get a chance to relax or make sure that I do. I'm just making sure I'm living in the moment I'm present. And I embrace the little things, the bigger things, all types of motherfucking things, because at the end of the day, I'm allowed to experience them. And the creator says, otherwise, I'll be here. So why not make the best of it? When any day can be your day yeah. Feel, be grateful to the highest capacity limitation level possible in your brain, which is limitless. According to some scientists now Bradley Cooper and you know, anxiety comes from trying to control the future. Just trust it, man. Like. Do you plant the seeds in water, nurture them the right way that plant is going to blossom, like a show that used to be on channel channel five. Nah, it's going to blossom like a garden in heaven. She sounds nice. Right? Yeah man, trust the process. Trust the future. Trust that no matter what, you'll be fine. So just relax until you figure it out. I mean, not, I'm not telling you to relax all the time, but make sure you make time for relaxation, man. But yeah man relaxation, man. It's. Is important as fuck. Don't overlook it.
