excuse me my worse enemy
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah It's your host. Raimundo welcome to my show. Once again. Well, we relate, never hate and try to participate specially on positive things. This is episode 22. Excuse me. My worst enemy. But before we get in a mix of things, let's do what we do. It's Ben moon does quote of the day Today's quoted a day. His boss, CC Chapman. And excuses, nothing more than a self-imposed roll block. Now think about that for a minute. There's always a reason not to do something on this case, an excuse, but there's always a way around it. If you actually put thought to it. It's just easy. It's just. Find a way to make yourself feel better about some shit that you should have did. And deep down the side, we all notice. That's what it be like. We just hold ourselves back. From being truly. Our best souls, like. we subconsciously. Or even sometimes consciously. Put roadblocks. In front of. the life we really want to live and want to have, and the things we want to do. even if it's not something, when it comes to success, like being there for somebody or. Saying the wrong thing, At the end of the day, you your own worst enemy, like. You. Focus on the problem instead of the solution. Seems like a, a simple switch, but. When you have is control your every day. Is. Something not as easy to do. Because habits run our worlds. Your subconscious is why the certain way., So you pretty much just end up. Repeating the same mistakes because They built so deep into your subconscious mind. I mean, there's things you could do to change that, but we'll get more into that later. But Let's get into the. Belly at an episode. Let's go We all heard the same excuses are like assholes. Everybody's got one When you and the opposite. End of an excuse. It makes you not want to do them shits, Hi. Like you know you bullshit and man make sure I want to do none of that. This part of the episode. Pretty much is about excuses. I've had my challenges. with excuses and looking up for reasons of why I can't do something, even to this day, I still do sometimes and I gotta correct myself mentally. That's why. The mental reinforcement is so important when it comes to. Changing your mindset and the way you do things. But yeah, man, likes. Shit. I think one fucked up thing about me. I hate to admit is that. Like sometimes people would expect them to excuse for me. Of why I didn't do something. And. Sometimes when you. When Liz expected. And your integrity is not in the best place. You like fall in to. what you don't like about yourself and what other people think about you? I mentioned this in season one. But like, I always. Even to this day, bring up my. Tom and real estate where I figured it out and I was doing my thing. Like, and I just always have an excuse to wide and keep doing it. And amongst other things, I got so many dreams, so many things I want to do. And sometimes I just. Like. I put my own obstacles in the way. Like, it's crazy how the human mind works. and this is only trying to keep you safe. Like it wants you to feel good in. Not exposing yourself to something you're not used to because we feel that you're known. And as humans is like in our nature, we want to fucking know, man. And want to control shit that we can't control. Yeah. And the unknown. That's just sucks. Like not knowing what to expect. I noticed certain people that. Before they go. So where they fucking. Google map finishes so they can see how the street look like. Like. You know, not, no, I'm not taking shots at you. I've done it. when my anxiety fled up. That's where fear come from. That's the birth of fear, not knowing. But it's an insane man. When you become friends with deal known, when you embrace the unknown. And the way it lets you know, who you really are. The unknown. That's you know, who you really are, like really think about that shit. You don't know what's going to happen. You going through with it anyway. there's this book I'm reading. No excuses by Brian Tracy. And something that gave me some type of pieces that. You know, the fear doesn't completely go away. Some people just mastered. Pretty much. I'm doing it anyway, like feeling the fear and doing it anyway, I mean at that point. You know, you make feed your bitch. Like that's what it's all about. A lot of people that's living their dreams and. Megan to happen. They had faced some type of fear. I'm pretty sure all entrepreneurs had to go through it. Batman had to go through it. before he actually became Batman, you know what I'm saying? Where he just studied with the leadership. I'm sorry, I just saw Batman and she would say goodbye, you know, Robert palisade this thing Yeah, it makes me want to get into like, what are common excuses, right? Like. I didn't hear the alarm. I miss my bus. people like me don't make it in that field. I'm too dumb to do this. I'm not smart enough to do that. Nobody makes money online. which is something when you're, when I was younger, somebody told me you can't make money online. And I was destined. Minus the podcast. with great donations. And shout out to those who donated. Thanks for the love. I made$50. I'm going to make 50 mil somehow. So, It's definitely, always a way to do something. If you. Make yourself believe that or that there is, but back to the. Back to the common excuses. If I was stronger, if I was taller, if I went to college. If my family grew up with money like this always. Some excuse, and it's just somebody that's tired of hearing it. Or don't believe you anyway. you just give off a different vibe, but you're not telling the truth and, you know, People like just sometimes can just feel the energy. Like they know you front-end. I've been on the other side of it when I'm giving an excuse and I can sense the other person. Sensing the bullshit. And you start feeling like you on manifest and you get hit at voice. Oh shit. Like you could have figured it out. Yeah. It would be like that though, Sometimes it's better to just not say shit and just. Just own up to it because. Not, there's just don't even make sense. Yo, this was all, man. I remember one of my close friends. back in the day, we used to work in Lakota on blue. And he didn't want to go to work that day. So he calls the boss and he's like, uh, long story short, he didn't go into work. He didn't get fired for that. He got fired for something else, but, uh, that was a great time in Lakota, on blue. I was away to. what I loved about that job, I went from A shitty Weta to a top-notch waiter that was training people. It probably could have been the major D. If that's what it's called, I think. But I didn't go that route. So. one time I had. The Mimi take 13 plates to a room full of 500 people. And I dropped all these plates. On somebody that was like, he just came out of jail. I think his name was Gill. He had a fucking jail. He had like a gangster name to. He had a scar on his back, his neck coolest dude. I like six, five, like. I dropped all the plates on them. When I got to him, everybody saw was shrugging. I got to him, ball drop all the food on them. And I apologize. And he said, Ray, could you just get away from me? And then I saw him later on and he was just like, yo, I just appreciate it if you just stay away from, because I want to keep my job. And I was like, yo Gill. I respect that. I show story but let's get back to the let's get back to the proceedings this evening. Yeah, what can I say about, um, No excuses. No, not like that. Nobody respects him. The only one that. Respects him with someone gullible enough to believe it or. Sometimes, there is a reason. when I think about excuse, I just think I'm on some bullshit like that. We really try. And for those that. Had this there's people out there that. Could have went the easy route and just came up with some shit. why did they make it? But if it wasn't for these people, we wouldn't have everything. That we have today because there's always a hate or somebody that don't believe in shit because, Whatever they've been through. But it's, I feel like it's happened in every field from technology to food to. Um, traveling like. I bring it up. I'm like, yo, they thought the Wright brothers was bugging. They thought after, you know, boats, because that was it. They thought they was bugging, but. They didn't find an excuse. The we're flying. This Delta is. America. I was going to say America online or something. what the fuck is called. Like America airlines. And I'll show you. I heard the story of the KFC guy. He had business after business just fell on him and. If he would've had an excuse? Well, he would've quit. I would've been like yo respect dog. Cause. Diablo brawler. How many times are you going to shit, Keenan, keep going down the drain, but yo. At age of 60. I think it was 68 KFC died. Well, the kids. Uh, family, whatever they, I'm pretty sure they set. So. That's what I'm saying. You never, you never know. Don't bet on the lotto. I mean, it's, it's fun to play it, but you got to stop basing your life. If you win the Knotel cause. You got a better chance of. Then you got a better chance of dying and a lot of that's fucked off. That's a me man, just having excuses at the end of the day, just like another form of procrastination. You put an off what you've got to do. And when you take that shot me, she was not, um, Given to you, Bob, but they're not. You have no beef, no beef, right? As soon as you say some. Vaccine COVID shit that say you flag like yo, just joking man. I think you need to have a no exceptions rule and. Something that can help you with that is, um, Reading. And. Building some momentum and. Applying. The shit that works. Sometimes it's just simple as. Doing what somebody else did. Or taken what different people did and finding your way. You know, something that can really help you out though. Paying attention to your awareness. The shit you aware of? that's this shit that you, you realize and, you know, You see it around you, but. You ignore it. Like it's going to go away somewhere, but it never does. And uh, eventually life makes you face it. One thing I really know about myself and all my friends and family know, especially when they get to really talk to me is that I'm aware of. The great shit that I do. And I'm aware of the. The bad shit that I do. I wouldn't even say bad, different. All fucked up. Like some people. Like they don't notice. That day, the ones that's like always interrupted or. Insisted. At certain things, that's just goes by. But I do like me. I know when I'm talking too much. I know when I've been somewhere too long. I don't know. I feel like for me, energy. Just, it tells me the story. W regardless of, I like to embrace it or realize it or not energy. It tells me the story that I need to know. Wherever I'm at. but, uh, It's a capitalize on your awareness. They say, well, it's, you know, you do better, but that's not always. Necessarily. How it works. It's like, you know, Until you tie to knowing and you ready to start doing. So make sure. You may get a habit of. Taking the action. When you aware. Of something not being right. And it needed correction. In order to. Either improve your life. Or at least make it a little bit more comfortable. Uh, we're not too comfortable though. But I always wanted to say this will be back. After this commercial break. You're your own worst enemy. I'm pretty sure we've heard this term a lot before. You know, shout out to lift for that fire ass song that reminds us. That we all west. Our own worst enemy, I mean, all I remember about the song is that he kept, he just kept asking him why his, his car was in the front yard. And. But still the shit gets me hype. When you come to think about it, you're the only one in your way. One thing I learned in sales. Was when you focus on what the fuck you doing? Your sales numbers go up when you. Worried about. If you keeping up with everybody else around you. That's when you fall into that comparison trap that. There's no really way to dictate that like, Sometimes it's timing. It's The work you put in something you say. Or something you do. And some people call it luck. But the harder you work the luckier you get Shout out the pit bull And the only time you worry about what the next person is doing is when you trying to get some game like Fucking basketball camp and shit. And one of the people I specifically. I asked for advice. it was a real estate agent name, Tyler Whitman. He's actually been on. Million dollar listing on Bravo. he gave me advice. And it ended up. Helping me out. When I have my little boom. With sales. But now he's. From the video. I saw that he posted. He went from$30 million a year to$30 million a month. So. Don't be afraid to ask for help Being able to speak. To somebody that's doing the thing. In the field that you want to do your thing in. sometimes those people are willing to help because they've been in your shoes before. But sometimes we quick the judge thinking they don't have time, but. You'll be surprised. I've been in certain fields where I will go to like the top. Salesperson at the time. And. Try to take a little bit of. What he's doing. Uh, with the next person's doing. Certain times that I've been able to. Put it together and build my own system. Cause. regardless of anything you're doing and we'll get into this and other episodes, but systems are mandatory. Because there's days, you're not going to want to do shit. But if what you gotta do is follow a system that produces results. Bob, what are you waiting for my mind? Get that. But being your own, your own worst enemy is just sometimes it's just built into your, like I mentioned earlier, it's built into your habits. In your mindset and people take for granted. Your subconscious. everything in our body. He is functioning and. Our conscious mind has nothing to do with our. Uh, subconscious mind is the one that runs that. So I feel like it's a real thing. And the more. Positive. And. Information that helps you. Be better. You got to install it in your subconscious mind. Season one, that's all kind of what I was doing. I was like listening to the audio when I was going to sleep. I was reading books. I was trying to like put it in my head that. Um, the best podcast or in the world. I'm a future billionaire. I'm actually in my head, I'm a billionaire right now. Money flows to me easy. Another thing we got to get into in another episode is affirmations, man. They are more powerful than you think. There's some studies that show that. The more you hear something the more you believe is true. Even if it's not so. With that. why don't you put your energy into telling yourself how great you can be? Instead of. Literally being your own roadblock Like your feet planet a nine in your way, you could literally just walk where you just. You know, when to move and it takes action. Action cures all. Or doubts. And another thing I wanted to touch on. Is. The victim mentality. I don't think some of us notice. That we do it, or we have it. you got to see the signs like. Uh, one is your self-talk being negative. my brother. Shout out to Brian. He really got me hyped the other day. Like. He told me that I could be an actor. Like he gave me all these reasons of why. And I got so hype, so I, and then it made me think I'm like, yo, why. Why can't I get myself hype like that? So your self-talk. Got to be as strong as when somebody else told you. I felt this before. There's a way to do this and it's. Continue to tell yourself you're the greatest You gotta be like ali with that shit I don't think some of us notice. That we do it, or we have it. you got to see the signs And it could be simple as just looking yourself. Looking at yourself every day. In the mirror and just saying, yo, I love you. when you make a mistake, Pat yourself on the back. But I don't decide you'll be better next time. you never feel sorry for yourself because. That's just the worst man. Cause. You know, we understand Certain situations. Support that, but. Not when there's some there's something you can do about it like you gotta be real with yourself, Yo lack of confidence. We'll put you in. Situations that You don't want to be in Can make you Deal with so you don't want to deal with or It'll make you feel like. Hopeless or. you're not capable of doing these things some of us think confidence comes from. Like almost being perfect or. The possessions you have, or. The respect you have. I I just know to me, I feel like real confidence is knowing. Uh, willing to do anything regardless of fear. regardless if you're good at it or not, regardless of. There's a million reasons why you shouldn't. Is she a brave enough to go do it? That's confident. Also another reason. you live in the past. You didn't build the Mavericks that. You can't let it go. And the way you can't, the way you know that you have a letter go, as you still get pissed off. When you talk about it. It affects you to this day in some way. You don't have to necessarily forgive the person or the situation. All you gotta do is make sure you forgive yourself. And also forgive other people, man, because at the end of the day, Ain't nobody perfect. so Let it go. Forgive. It'll give you peace A promise we always try to do things. How we think. It's going to be better for us. Uh, something about better for us and other people. We've got people like, you gotta do like me. By my babies. I'm not a lot of parents are like that. Another way, you know, the. Your goal dependent, like. There's certain things you can do if you don't have somebody else to do with you or. You know, something as simple as going shopping. they said something real powerful about. Being able to go to the movies or dinner by yourself. Shows you don't give a fuck about what nobody think. It shows you hungry. Joel, do you want to watch a movie? Now, but it shows that you don't need anything. You don't need nobody to do things like. That's self independence. Of knowing that. You can depend on yourself. And you, don't got to worry about nobody else. A you, you let go of those expectations of people. Yo. That shit is empowering because. It's all on you. As long as you to figure that shit up. And don't get me wrong. It sucks to have expectations of other people. Because eventually they're going to let you down. No one lives to make sure you good. You got to make sure you good. The only expectation you should worry about is the one that you have for yourself. And if you have one low one, You're going to continue to do. So par things. Or things that, you know, you better then. a lot of us have that victim mentality because. We've been betrayed in the past. And then, we got to like, are our guards up? Because we don't want that shit to happen again, but. Sometimes you've got to say, fuck it, man. Like. Love. Like you was at high school. You wasn't listening to nobody, Love wholeheartedly. Give it your all. Cause. You can come back from it. If it doesn't work. I'm not somebody. I like yo, you don't even know what I went through. Cook. Trust me, I've been there. I done fucking lost the whole career because of a breakup. but we, because of that, Um, much wiser. And i'm pretty much know what to do and what not to do When you love, you still leave yourself vulnerable to get hurt. But it's all part of the game. don't hate the player hate the game That's the thing, man, sometimes. That's another thing that can get on our way. We're in about what we don't want to happen. That can kind of like. break our hearts, man. Heartbreak. That shit feels like physical. It feels like somebody literally. Ripped your heart in half. So. I get it. But again, Going forward. Makes a difference. Like we don't even realize that we in the fucking wean a cycle and. When you were in the cycle. You can almost predict. What's going to happen next. Because. You'll realize that the cycle you're in. consists of the same shit. And. It's only a matter of time before you realize that. You got to do something different. Like, uh, shit like greenhouse, they, after the fourth time and he woke up and it was still the same day, he was like, nah, it's not. Size up. It was probably less or more to the, I don't remember. eventually you gotta realize you in this. Cycle. And if. You want shit to change? You got to chase something. You got to throw that shit a little off until you get, throw it all the way off and then break out of it. Cause. To go through the same thing. That means you learn the lesson. And until you do. It will continue my friends. Well, we touched on excuses. We touched on. You know, being your worst enemy and. You know, all the things in the mix of those two. But I want to talk about yo, what can you do? To make. Make it better, like. Listen, I ain't got all the answers. It just certain things I know. And I know sometimes I have to practice what you preach, but. From experience. I can tell you that. If you apply the things that. You know, work. but it's up to you to find out what it is. You have to go through the experience. If you don't do nothing, you get nothing. 0% of nothing is nothing. So one thing you can do off rip. It's take full accountability. If you suppose to do a project. With Jimmy. Eh, you feel the project? Cause Jimmy didn't do his part. Like take responsibility is your fault. You should've did Jimmy part like. Like take full accountability. It's all you like, act like you, the only person in this world, and it's nobody fault, but you, your son don't go. Right. So what that's going to do, which is going to force your mind to find the solution. Because when your mom believes. And you'd tell us your mind. I can find a solution to this. Somewhere in there out of all the things you've. Experience red. See, no TV. There's an answer somewhere there. Sometimes. It's not the answer you looking for. But, uh, Answer you. need Keeping track of what you do so you can see your progress and, see your results. This is my theory. Sometimes I feel like there's two use, right? This the you that just love to be safe and comfortable. And. Just. Loves to play a safe. All the time. And even sometimes playing the safe is harmful. Like sometimes it's, self-sabotage like the things you do. To just. Not put yourself out there. And this is the, you that's like. Maybe the world seems some of it, but they have the scene. All of it, deep down, like. You can do whatever you want, if you really put your mind to. And I really believe there's. So many things you can get done or accomplish when you really put your mind to it and really be that as. About seeing it all the way through. And have you embraced the journey? There's only a matter of a time before you realize. That you're stronger. You have more power? You're more in control. And he able to let go the things that you can't control and able to move forward. Accomplish things you always could, and it's never too late. There's this author by the name of Lucy hay. She didn't start her financial apprised to like 45. She. Started doing yoga like 60 seventies. a, she became an artist. That car that sells a paintings They just certain stories that like are truly inspiring and regardless of where you at and what you're dealing with. There's always somebody that says, nah, this is not the way. And. The university is just waiting for you to say it too, so we can give you all. The things that belong to you all the. Beautiful memories that you could be having. If you weren't in your own way. Which is, excuse me, my worst enemy, but let's get down to the final. Say. And. Raymundo's final. Say Excuses or stop when you. From reaching your full potential. The life you want to live as possible. If you leave no room for quitting. The universe wants to see what you made of. It has to know that you really about that life. If you focus on what you could do. And now what you can. You see a big fucking difference. The mind does what you tell it. So say. Something good. You're the reason you're not where you feel you supposed to be. Claim the blame game is a game set up for you to lose. Lose yourself and becoming the best version. Of view. Your family deserves it. You deserve it. And soul does the world. Thank you for joining me again on the remote. No show. This was another great episode. Every time I do a puzzle dummies classic. Thank you for lending me your ear. Eventually. I hope I can have your heart. I'm just playing my part in. Doing what I can and make the world a better place. But it starts with my world. And I would love to end it like this. Vision without action is merely a dream. Actually what our vision just pass it the time vision with action can change the world But so next time, love y'all peace, love Mundo. Out out out.
